The charity is there to provide facilities for recreation and life enhancement. As the premises we now have control of are derelict (and there is no public building in the area), we are raising funds to demolish them and build a new, sustainable community hub, complete with external play area. We hold outside events for the benefit of the surrounding community, which also help us raise funds. We have made all those in authority aware of our situation (local council, councillors, MSPs, MPs) and are busy applying for grants.
