We never charge charities

No paid placement, no sponsorships, no “premium” profiles. Ratings come only from public Charity Commission filings — our independence is the whole point.

Common questions

Does it cost anything for a charity to claim its profile? +

No. Claiming, correcting, embedding badges and right-of-reply are all free. Charities never pay CharityCompare and cannot buy a better score or placement.

Can a charity change its Clarity Score? +

No one can buy or edit a score. Scores are our independent reading of public Charity Commission filings. If you believe the underlying data is wrong, request a correction with evidence and we will re-check it.

How do you verify that I represent the charity? +

We confirm requests against the charity's registered contact details held by the Charity Commission before publishing any change.
