Our charity is set up to look after and improve the ecology and aquatic species within our catchment area. This includes the flora and fauna. We are closely involved with the River Don Board and we also aim to assist in the achievement of carrying out the River Don Fishery Management Plan. We are involved in the collection of samples of water from the river for chemical analysis as well as assisting with invertebrate sampling. We have made a film which highlights the dangers and abundance of invasive species, in particular giant hogweed, in order to educate and warn members of the public. We…
