The object of the association is to assist visually impaired persons, (hereinafter called "the beneficiaries") without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, and ethnic identity, political or religious opinion. To do this by the provision of recordings which reflect the life of the community in the Mid-Ulster area, together with the discretionary provision of equipment considered necessary to use such recordings with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
