The charity was founded to increase public understanding and knowledge of the natural and cultural heritages of Clackmannanshire and its environs. to help protect and improve them, in part by providing a range of opportunities to experience them and also by encouraging investigation of and research into them. The Committee held five meetings during the year to plan the programme to help achieve these aims, attend to other matters and discuss local planning applications.
