Starter Packs Glasgow started in March 2000 as a charity that was designed to support people moving on from homelessness and into a new tenancy. A pack of essential household items would be delivered when the recipient was given the new keys to their new home. The packs were designed to help people settle in quickly, alleviate the financial burden of having to buy all these items at one time along with the stress that goes with it and help break the cycle of homelessness. In the last financial year we directly supported 1600 Households across our city (2400 people, 600 of whom were children)…
