What the charity does

Our charity is set up to promote the education of railways in Scotland and of the Scottish railway industry. We do this by an established Museum of Railways in Scotland in which we manage, conserve, safeguard and document a vast collection of railway items. We display and exhibit items from this collection to the public in either a static way, or by operating them or by carrying the public in them. We can do this over our own five mile long heritage railway line at Bo'ness .
