Skirling Community Development Trust was set up in October 2024 by the community of Skirling to support the delivery of the Skirling Community Action Plan 2024-2029. There was a need for a legal entity to take forward a number of the proposed projects in the Community Action Plan and to own any land or assets over time on behalf of the community which would enable some of the community projects and protect the environment and community spaces in Skirling.
