What the charity does
We are set up to ensure that children know where their food comes from all the way from Field to Fork. Our coordinator arranges visits to schools and provides volunteer speakers and demonstrations. We host Food and Farming days both on farms and at other suitable venues where pupils and teachers can come and experience a real situation eg, cows being milked, crops harvested, sheep shearing, safety in the countryside etc. In order to raise funds we rely on donations and we visit Agricultural Shows through out the summer to raise awareness of our charity work.
