We have a core of trained volunteers to assist in search and rescue as determined by Police Scotland. This can be in any area of the country as we can assist other teams activities. We recruit people with suitable ability and train them for over a year and then they can assist in this work when deemed qualified. The training we do is a day a month and also an evening a month plus other more specialized activity and courses to keep us ready for any eventuality. Some are medically trained and we also have a few doctors on the team. We can respond in 4 team specialized vehicles to any area that…
