Music in West Kilbride was formed in 1986 with the aim of providing professional music concerts in North Ayrshire of the same high quality as those in Glasgow. This is achieved through an annual series of six concerts - mostly classical but with jazz and traditional music also represented. For many years, we have received an annual grant from Chamber Music Scotland (and some other sources) requiring us to be diverse in our repertoire, and include under-represented composers.
