The purpose of Largs Community Resilience Team is to save lives. In doing so, we aim to create a resilient North Ayrshire and surrounding area by ensuring that LCRT is able to respond swiftly and proportionately to an emergency in the community as part of an integrated emergency response. We ensure compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. We ensure that LCRT can respond to an emergency in the community through the creating of emergency plans, supplemented with training, exercises and plan maintenance with associated operational teams.
