It's many aims include sustainable forestry management, provision of leisure and educational facilities, affordable workspaces to encourage local enterprise, woodland crofts and self-build house plots, forest products such as firewood for members of the community in fuel poverty and indoor and outdoor growing spaces for small-scale food production leased to a local group.
