What the charity does
(1) to relieve poverty and distress, in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by providing advice, aid and assistance to those in housing need regardless of race or religion and by assisting churches and other religious groups to respond to the needs of those in housing need. and (2) to educate the public concerning the nature, causes and effects of poverty and distress, and to conduct and procure research concerning the same and to make available the useful results thereof to the public.
