GMF hold an annual festival of music and speech , run by a group of volunteers . It is set up to encourage performers of all ages to enjoy and participate in the making of music , prose reading and Scots Verse in a competitive and non competitive environment at several venues in Galloway. This means that we reach out to as many communities as possible. For audiences all sessions are free entry to encourage bringing old and young together.
