The charity was set up for the benefit of the residents of Fort Augustus and Invermoriston (Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Council area). We receive income from various wind farms and hydro, which is used to provide grants to local groups for community projects and funds our apprenticeship scheme. under a SLA with Highland Council we employ a team of community caretakers who undertake a variety of services in the community e.g. grass cutting, litter picking, etc.. we own and rent out the village hall for various activities. we built the local medical centre which is rented to the NH…
