The charity aims to enhance access to paths along the rivers Esk in Midlothian and East Lothian. To this end we have established the Esk Way which is a pathway along the river North Esk from the source in the Pentland Hills to the entry into the Firth of Forth at Musselburgh. We also aim to enhance awareness of the physical, biological, social, cultural, industrial and historical heritage of the Esk rivers and their catchments through public talks and guided walks.
