What the charity does
The charity achieves its objectives by publishing in the annual Transactions the best information on the natural sciences and antiquities of the three former counties of Dumfriesshire, Kirkcudbrightshire and Wigtownshire. During the last year Volume 97 of the Transactions was published. The arranged programme of lectures for 2024/25 was successfully completed both live and via zoom. The AGM was held when members were sent reports by the President and Treasurer and members agreed to slightly increase membership fees wef 1st October 2025 and approved office bearers.
