No payment affects a score, a star rating or a ranking position. Scores are computed at build time from regulator filings only, so there is no mechanism by which money could change one.
What a charity can do:
- Claim its profile — free. Submit its own description and an optional logo. After authority and editorial checks, an approved claim is labelled with claimed status and its description is attributed. A logo needs approval and permission to use it.
- Paid tiers add enhanced presentation and insight: photos, impact links and a stats dashboard. Partner and Patron plans also include labelled placements and other benefits described on the pricing page.
Featured placements exist on some cause and city pages, and they are always labelled as such. They never reorder a ranked list. This boundary is the point of the site — see how we’re funded.
