Somerset Sight’s registered purpose is to help visually impaired people in and around Somerset live as independently as possible through services and activities.

Use the current financial panel and full profile for dated accounts and the score breakdown. Staff and volunteer counts describe the operating model; they are not equivalent to full-time capacity or hours of support delivered.
Ask which services are available in your area, how referrals work and what accessibility arrangements are offered. Check whether any fees, transport limits or waiting times apply.
For results, look for defined measures of independence or participation alongside service-use counts. The number of visits or activities is not the same as the number of unique people helped. Feedback is more informative when the charity explains the period, response rate and what changed as a result.
