The objectives of the Band shall be to advance the education of the public, particularly young people living and/or working in Kirkcaldy and surrounding districts, in the art of bagpipe playing and drumming by the presentation of public performances and other related activities and, in furtherance thereof, to promote, advance and encourage bagpipe playing and drumming and to promote the traditions of pipe band music (hereinafter called' the Objects').
